River Tay is one of the longest rivers in Scotland it offer white water rafting throughout the year.  There are 2 main parts to rafting on the Tay the upper and lower.

The upper day starts in Aberfeldy for about 7 miles and the lower day starts around Stanely just North of Perth.  Both sections of the river are idea for families and beginners with the more extreme rapids on the Lower Tay.  Saying that it's not over scary at the best of time so if you want to see if you enjoy rafting then this is a great river to start on.
